    Description

    Protect 2x16 displays
    from dirt and damage with these tough, pro-quality faceplates. Install in seconds with industrial-strength peel-and-stick adhesive backing. Specs:
    Sized to fit common 2x16 LCDs (and similar VFDs, OLEDs, etc.) of 80x36mm pcb size.
    Outside dimensions (black border): 82x38mm, large enough to cover countersunk screw heads.
    Inside dimensions (transparent window): 61x14mm.
    Made of tough, 20-mil Lexan™ polycarbonate.
    Features strong 3M 468MP pressure-sensitive adhesive.
    Package of three (3) faceplates.

    The photo gallery shows a typical application: The 2x16 display is mounted behind an opening in your enclosure. To install the faceplate, thoroughly clean the installation area to remove any dirt, grease, mold-release compound etc. (Isopropyl "rubbing" alcohol works great.) Next, remove the protective film (front and back) from the faceplate, and peel the backing from the adhesive. Center the faceplate carefully over the display and press in place. If you need to reposition the faceplate, work quickly--the adhesive grabs fast and is very strong.
