The SmartClass OMK-55 Optical Test Kit contains all of the tools, including instruments and accessories, specifically designed to perform professional-grade power or loss tests in the field. Each SmartClass OMK-55 kit includes a SmartClass OLP-55 Optical Power Meter, a highperformance optical power meter for testing, installing, and maintaining single-mode and multimode cables and networks. The SmartClass OLP-55 features auto-zeroing for auto dark current compensation to increase measurement accuracy
Each kit also includes a SmartClass OLS-55 Optical Laser Source. Different versions of the SmartClass OLS-55 offer flexibility for testing, installing, and maintaining multimode as well as single-mode fiber systems in communications and Category 5 (CATV)/multimedia networks.
The SmartClass OMK-55 may also include an optional SmartClass OLA-55 Optical Level Attenuator. Due to low differential group delay (DGD), the OLA-55 is suitable for up to 40 Gbps systems.
